1/31/2024 surgery update

 

Hi all, we were checked in to the hospital by 10:30.  Then the real checking in started.  Questions that were asked yesterday and earlier today got asked by several staff.  Once that was done for the last time, the phlebotomist came in and did a great job of finding a vein in one stab.  This is not the norm.

 Then the doc checked in, followed by two different anesthesiologists. Finally at 1:37, Colleen was wheeled out.  Now the waiting begins.  Jen and I are in the waiting room for 2 to 2.5 hours (hopefully) waiting for the doc to call once the surgery is done.  I will post again today with what he says.
