RV road trip 9.13 & 14.2018

Yesterday, Thursday, we didn’t do a lot.  Laundry and fishing.

Today, Friday, was an active day.  By far the most diving miles yet in the park.  It started well, there was not a backup getting into the park for the first time.  We went earlier and that seems to have made a big difference.

We drove a loop with the main attraction Yellowstone River falls and the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone.  Amazingly beautiful, hard to describe.  Continuing on, we passed Yellowstone Lake, huge!

That was what we had planned for the day, since we usually spend an hour getting into the park, due to people stopping on the road to take photos of wildlife.  So, we decided to go down into Grand Teton National Park.  We stopped at Jackson Lake Lodge for photos.  From their outside deck, a huge meadow stretched far toward the mountains.  Then they rise dramatically. They are so jagged, sawtooth-like.  Impressive.

Tomorrow we are heading north into Montana and on to home in a few days.
