RV roadtrip 9.08.2018

We are in Fruitland Idaho at the moment, on our way to Yellowstone via Rupert Idaho.  We left home around three pm Friday and stayed in Yakima Friday night.  In our rush to get going we forgot some things, bed sheets, food items, etc.  We got to the RV lot just before closing and decided to set up before going out.  We tried to call LYFT but they are not available in Yakima yet. So then..UBER.  The app would not load so we called our friend and in-law Chris who came out and took us to Walmart.  Great guy there.  Back to the RV and tried without success to get the cable tv to work.  Internet did work so that was good.

This morning we left Yakima and drove to Fruitland, nine hours on the road, and then to Walmart again for something else we forgot.  On the way we drove by a huge range fire with the ugliest smoke we have ever seen.  If the wifi here will allow it, I will include a picture of the smoke.

Tomorrow will be a big day for us.  We are meeting the mother and sister of John’s heart donor.  We will visit his grave and leave some flowers from our garden.  It will be emotional we are sure, for both sides.  Pictures in the next blog.

John & Colleen
