St Lucia

On Tuesday when we were on Antigua, we stopped in a bar and bought beers.  The waitress gave us a piece of paper with the wifi password on it.  We used it for both of our phones and both computers.  Lots of places advertised free wifi.  The people on St Lucia, our stop on Wednesday, came up with a different, better for them, system.  There is a shopping center at the dock and there is a wifi vendor inside.  For six dollars, you can use the wifi all day long.  But, they don't give the password, you give them your machine and they enter it.  On only one machine.  We looked around and found a bar that gave free wifi for customers.  But they only intended it for one machine although they put the password into two machines.  And, it was really good, quick wifi.

We went to the old shopping center across the bay and wandered through all of the shops.  The building is more of a tent system with corrugated metal roofing. Lots of vendor and lots of the same stuff.  Still, most of it was made on the island or in the islands.  Then we took a passenger ferry back to the pier where our ship was located.
