Boston and Bar Harbor, Maine

We will hopefully be able to post this from the ship's Internet Cafe, as we are still having trouble getting online from our cabin.  The Internet Cafe manager says that the problem is with our computer, since it runs on Windows 8.  We will take this blog entry down to the Internet Cafe on our laptop.  We will rekey it into their computer and send it that way.

On Tuesday we were in Boston and walked the town with Jeanine and Leroy until early afternoon.  We took a shuttle from the ship into Quincy Market, a little mall area of shops and food courts.  From there we followed the red bricks in the pavement that guide tourists on the 'Freedom Trail'.  It goes by many of the local features like the Old North Church of Paul Revere fame.  We did stop at a Starbucks to post the blog entry of yesterday and catch up on emails and Facebook.

Wednesday, we anchored in Bar Harbor, Maine.  This little town is where Jeanine and Leroy were married 26 years ago.  We tendered in and went with them to the place they were married and stayed.  The ownership has changed, but the new owner was very gracious and let us in for photos and a little history of the place.  Then we did the usual, walked the town, poked into shops and snapped pictures.

Starting tomorrow, we will be in Canada for the remainder of our cruise.
