Fall Colors cruise 2014

We are in New Jersey after a decent flight.  A decent but interesting flight.  We were in row 11, separated by the aisle.  Next to Co, in 11B, was an older man,  in his 80's,  who came on with a quilted jacket.  Under it was a black long sleeved mock turtleneck sweater.  Shortly after takeoff, he just took off his jacket, his turtleneck  and was then sitting by her in a sleeveless white undershirt.  Hairy arms crossed over his hairy chest, sound asleep.  Totally covered with freckles.  A tattoo or two.  Four and a half hours.  She leaned as far away from him as she could.  Kinda creepy, kinda gross.

We were picked up by the landlady of the apartment we rented through an online service called airbnb.  Now we will have four days to explore NYC before getting on the Ruby Princess and cruising up to Quebec City through the New England states and eastern Canada.  We will spend most of our time in NYC before boarding the ship. 

The apartment is a block and a half from the Hudson River and just across the river is the new World Trade Center.  We can see it from the corner window in the living room.  There is a subway station near that we will take into the city, hoping not to get lost.
