03.13.2020 update from Miramar
Hello all. This is from an iPhone so disregard fat finger errors. We landed at military base Miramar near San Diego late last evening. We are in an on-base motel in a decent room. Smaller than the ship cabin though. The same strict quarantine rules apply.
The internet isn’t being good to us. It says we are connected but every site we go to gets the same message. “This site can’t be reached.” Then “*.* unexpectedly closed the connection”. We haven’t figured it out as yet.
But we are safe. We will be tested today with results expected tomorrow. Our status will be reviewed in 72 hours. We possibly might go home then but there are no promises that are ironclad here.
