03.11.2020 Mid-day update

Hello all,

We just received a call back from Dr. Lapkoff of Health and Human Services in Washington D.C. informing us that the plane to Washington, Oregon and Alaska will NOT be leaving today.  We will be staying on the ship for another night.  He says there is a strong possibility that we will be able to leave tomorrow.  However, that is what we were told yesterday about leaving today. 

So, we get another evening of watching beautiful California sunsets and the multiple Coast Guard and local police boats.  Those guys are bored too, we would bet.  One boat of police officers was waving and had a photographer with a large camera on board.  Maybe we’ll be on the Oakland news tonight.
