03.11.2020 Morning update

Hello all,

We received our luggage tags overnight and the bags are out in the hall.  So now we wait.  We thought at one point that we were going to fly home in an Air Ambulance.  That now seems to be off the table.  The latest from Washington Public Health Services has us flying home on a plane with passengers from Oregon, Washington and Alaska.  Stopping in Portland first.  Possibly adding a stop in Spokane for those passengers from the east side of the state.

Health and Human Services said that there is a slight chance that we might spend one night at a base in San Diego.

Of course, we want to go straight home.  We have not left this room since late last Wednesday.  I’m sure we are in a better place than all of the passengers already in military facilities. 

We are still being fed well enough.  There is an outside vendor supplying one size fits all meals for us.  No low sodium meals for John anymore. 

As usual, we will try to post as we learn more.  If we get hustled off the ship, we may not post until we arrive at our next destination.
