4/20/16 4pm

We had extensive instruction from the pharmacy this afternoon.  We filled the huge pill box for a weeks' worth of meds.  There are a few that he's not on yet, but still quite a lot.  We asked about Johns colitis meds, since that isn't something that we want to neglect.  About two hours after we asked the question, three people from the GI department came to speak to us.  The doctor knows John's GI doctor and is going to call him to figure out what is going to be recommended.

Then the chaplain came in for a few minutes.

We ran into our friend, Dan whose wife got a lung transplant today and he says she is doing well.  I showed him where the family room is which had beds, a bathroom and other items for the family.

John had a good nap today and has been walking well.  He does better walking than standing, just like me!

Is he going to have to be on all these meds long term or will some be tapered off? It still looks like less meds than he was taking before the transplant, right? Glad he is doing well and pray you get out soon.
