Friday Night

This was a much better afternoon, once John got some sleep.  After they took the second drainage tube out they wanted a chest x-ray to make sure everything was in place.  Someone that is certified to change the batteries and system controller needs to be with him at all times for the first 90 days.  I went with him to free up his nurse to be here for her other patients.  So I packed up two extra batteries and the backup system controller.  He had lots of diuretics today, and it looks to us like the fluid is coming off his feet and arm.  Hope it's coming off his lungs too.  That should be out of his system by 11pm, so hope he can sleep well tonight.

We walked five times today, a record.
