Wednesday Afternoon

John had all his tubes, his catheter and some of his IV's removed today.  These were the same ones that were removed last Friday and reinserted over the weekend, so the skin where they were taped was sensitive.

There were lots of visits from doctors and different therapists. 

Then we walked to his new room, so we are out of Intensive Care.  He was able to walk around just once today, so we are hoping that we get the chance to do it at least one more time.

He is still tired and weak, but improving each day.  I'll let you know if there is any more news tonight, otherwise I'll report in tomorrow.
