Friday afternoon

Today has been really busy.  He has been up in his chair twice, once for two hours and once for a little less.  Hopefully we'll get at least one more in this afternoon.  He has had at least 6 tubes, lines, catheters removed, has had an echo which took almost an hour, and four teams have been in to see him.  His left hand is swollen, so had an ultrasound done to make sure there wasn't a clot.  Occupational therapy has been in to help him move to the chair and give him other exercises.  He is able to eat more, so had some soup and a part of a milkshake for lunch.
