San Francisco

We are in San Francisco and spent the day on Hop-On Hop-Off busses.  We bought 48 hour passes since we will be able to use them tomorrow, Saturday.  There are four tours available on this bus line and we did three of them today.  We started with the downtown tour and had a great guide.  It just went around town, showing all of the sights.  Then we had lunch and went again on the Golden Gate Bridge and Sausalito tour, which is an hour and 30 minutes.  Again, a great guide.  And, the way the drivers navigate the streets and corners is amazing.  They have great depth perception.

At 6PM, we boarded the “Night Tour” which is only done twice per day, once at 6PM and again at 7PM.  We had great weather, clear and cold.  The clear part is most important.  We sat in the upper level of the two deck London style busses.  If it had rained, as predicted, we would have not had such a good time.
