Anacortes 9/21-9/22 overnighter

We arrived in Anacortes on Sunday, the evening we left Seattle.  We went into town the next morning and walked for three solid hours.  Beautiful day.  It is a very cute town, especially the older parts.  Historical Anacortes.  

We stayed aboard once back on ship, had lunch, and tried to go to the cocktail hour at 5:30 PM.  It was listed as open to all but we, as first time American Cruise Line cruisers, were turned away at the door!  Kicked out of a bar!  

At dinner, we met Mary and Dan, from Florida, who were also on this Cruise line for the first time.  They walked right into the cocktail hour. No issues.

We mentioned the average age onboard...we should have mentioned that there is no medical staff on board.

There are two elevators for the five floors.  Most passengers don't use them, so they are really fast arriving.

San Juan Island is next.
