3/28/2024 update

It is hard to believe that the surgery was two weeks ago yesterday.  Things were going along ok, ups and downs, generally progressing.  Two days ago was "the best since the break'.  Yesterday was almost as good.  Out of the blue, today had a really bad spell, lasting a few hours.  It was almost as if one of the pain pills was a dud.  We added a half of a pain pill and the pain subsided.  The rest of the day was pretty good.  It would be nice if the progression was steady!  As a really wise woman, (you know who you are), said that it is hard to pace yourself if you don't know how long the journey will be.  True words.  We see the surgeon next Thursday for staple removal and follow-up x-rays.  Really hoping for positive feedback.  Colleen is working hard to do all the right things!
