3/19/24 Update

Yes, today was better, the best since this last surgery.  Pain was bad only once, mid afternoon.

Here is why;  there are three pills in the dosing regimen, one is taken every three hours, one every four hours and one every six hours.  When they are spaced out, pain is controlled.  But the three pills will all come due at the same time at least once a day.  The last half hour or so before they are due is tough.  The doses are all waning toward the end of their time periods and that is when the pain is bad.  Of course, when all three are given at once, it is sweet times about 20 minutes later!

Another thing about pills that are due at different time is that sometimes one is due at say, 10pm, one at 11 pm and the last maybe at 1pm.  Repeat all night ling.  That is a lot of waking up from a sleep needed for healing.  

As time goes on and healing happens, the dosing times will be extended.  Before the latest surgery, the three hour pill was gradually extended to only twice per day.  That will happen again, no doubt.
