2/26/24 update

We went to the surgeon's clinic today and Colleen had the staples removed.  We anticipated a fair amount of pain but there was not much at all.  The incision is healing well and they were pleased with the decrease in pain medications.  So that is all good.

What was not so good was the news that the x-ray showed two screws have backed out a bit.  It is possible that they will not back out more and nothing will need to be done.  Hopeful on that!  We will go back in three weeks for another x-ray to check the screws.  They did not go into what happens if the screws move more, but imagination gives ideas!
