2/14/24 update

 Best day yet!  Yesterday started out rough and improved throughout the day.  P/T came by and said Co was doing great, on track and to be patient.  This surgery recovery can't be rushed. He didn't think he would have to return.

Today O/T came and said the same.  She wants a few more grab bars for safety and that was it,  She also said she doesn't think she will need to come back.

A nurse called today and we all agreed that she would come by after the staples were removed next Thursday.  Apparently there will be a big reduction in pain when they are out, so we are anxious.  As long as there continue to be no signs of infection we won't need her before then.

Colleen is more active everyday lately.  We have been on some car rides but not outside yet.  Patience, patience, patience.
