03.06.2020 Second update

Hello all,

As some of you know, this is our FREE cruise.  We originally booked our Hawaii cruise about a year ago for the December 27, 2019 sailing.  On December 23^rd we received an email from Princess.  They wanted our balcony cabin.  They overbooked, just like airlines do.  In fact, they wanted it so bad, they said they would refund everything we paid.  Then we could choose any other Hawaii sailing in 2020, and they would put us in a mini suite.  We decided for the February 21^st sailing.  That would still get us out of the cold and wet winter.  On February 20^th, we received another email saying that they wanted our mini suite and would give us half our fare back and put us in a balcony cabin.  We said we were not interested; we were looking forward to our mini suite.  It is bigger than a balcony cabin.  There is a separate living room with a 6-foot sofa and a second 44-inch tv.  The bathroom is larger, even has a bathtub.  The balcony is also larger.  It is very comfortable, but for 24 hours a day?  They say “you get what you pay for”, or maybe “if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.”
