03.04.2020 mid-afternoon update

Hello all,

Last night, at dinner, the Head Waiter brought John today’s lunch and dinner menus.  John then ordered his low sodium meals for today.  At lunch time we called to room service.  They delivered his lunch and a sandwich for Colleen.  That is safer than for us to go to the dining room, since John would have to take off his mask.

We have seen a report on a California CBS news station, that a person that was on the previous cruise has died of COVID-19.  He was quite elderly and had underlying health issues. 

The Captain gave an update at 2PM today.  He said that the ship’s medical staff and the CDC are still talking.  He does not yet know whether our scheduled disembarkation on SATURDAY will be delayed.  Princess will pay airfare change costs for all , as necessary, and refund four days of internet costs.

We will post whenever we have new information to share.
