Nice day and rough seas
Sunday, 9/26/10
We were back where we started yesterday, in Southampton, UK. The cruise we are on is a 23 day one, but is a seven day cruise combined with a 16 day cruise. So, many passengers from the Iberian Coast cruise got off after their seven day cruise and more came on for the 16 day crossing of the Atlantic. There were 179 children on the seven day cruise and there are only three now, so the screech level will be considerably lower.
We took a 30 minute train trip west to Salisbury, the home of a marvelous old cathedral. It was built starting in 1220AD as a Catholic church, but ‘ol Henry the Eighth seized it with all of the other Catholic properties in 1534. The town has a great open air market that has booths selling anything and everything.
Saturday night when we got into the open water of the North Sea, the seas got rough, the roughest we have ever been on. It may get rougher toward Iceland! Co doesn’t get seasick and John uses the acupressure wrist bands, so we’ve been fine. We will be in Bergen Norway on Monday and then head west.

Glad you didn't take a video of the rough waters ... I might've gotten seasick! :)
