03.07.2020 update that should have gone on Thursday

Hello everyone,

This was meant to go out on Thursday but ended up as a draft. 

The two helicopters just came back and hovered for 15 minutes or so.  They were picking up the tests that were done and well as some CDC personnel.  The balcony upper cabins, in the area where the helicopters were hovering, were evacuated to a safe location.  We call them lucky, they got to go on a field trip!  And out of their cabins.

Our friend, Sandra, who is the director of Food and Beverage on the ship, is really taking us under her wing.  She visited us this morning while we were in the private dining room having breakfast.  She is the one that arranged for us to use that dining room.   After we were quarantined this afternoon, she called to let us know that she will call us back about 5pm to take our dinner order.  It is a very limited menu, since they have to deliver each meal to every cabin.  We will be having Boston Bibb Lettuce salad with shallot vinaigrette, Crispy Southern Fried Chicken with coleslaw and French fries.  For dessert we will have Chocolate Lovers Delight.  Not bad!

The captain said that he would make one more announcement tonight so we will post then if there is anything new.
