Cruising again
Co worked for Princess Cruises until the end of the Alaska cruise season as she has for the last several years. On the last day of the season, we took a one night cruise to Vancouver, BC with many of her co-workers. It was a blast. John got to meet many of the people that he has heard of, and was able to put faces to names.
We are leaving on October 22nd for Quebec City for another 'Fall Colors Cruise'. This is very similar to the cruise that we took last year at the same time. The same cruise that saw John visit the ship's sick bay 11 times! We are hopeful that there won't be a repeat of that! John will adhere to a low sodium diet this time. (He did a low sodium diet on a 7 day cruise in Feb. with no weight gain.) This cruise goes to some new ports and skips some that we visited last year. Baltimore and Philly will be skipped, meaning that we won't see cousin Jeanine and her family and cousin Barb and her family, some of our favorite people. We will update this blog as often as possible, hopefully daily with a few misses on days that the ship is not in port. There are three 'sea days' on this voyage.
